Description
The Donner Swim Club would like to thank you for buying tickets for our annual Jaime Miller Invitational Swim Meet.
This meet is named in honor of Jaime Miller, who swam for ColumbusEast High School, and later, was a coach for Donner Swim Club.
At age 15, Jaime was diagnosed with Long QT Syndrome, a disorder of the heart's electrical activity, which can cause sudden, uncontrollable, dangerous, and sometimes fatal, arrhythmias.
Sadly, Jaime’s life was cut short due to this syndrome, and she passed away in 2006 at the age of 27.
Jaime was an inspiration to everyone she met and encouraged both young and old to be the best they could be in swimming, and in life. This meet is a testimonial to her courage and fighting spirit.
